Comments: My furnace/boiler developed an unsalvageable crack and had to be replaced. First call was to that 4 letter company we all know. Second call was to a local plumbing and heating co we had used before. Their estimates werent sitting right with me so I started to research alternatives which brought me here. I was connected with LAMCO. I cannot say enough good words about this company. Fit in quickly onto their schedule?Check. Was told they would be done around 2 or 3 pm? They were done right around if not before 2. Check. Come in WAY WAY under my other estimates? Check. Lamco followed up with my questions over several days as this was a new experience for me making sure my family and me were all set with the new set up. I will be recommending this company to anyone I know that needs plumbing and heating services. Call them and give them a shot. You would be doing yourself a disservice if you dont.

Comments: I have the best to say about Tom and his team. I did not believe that they could replace the old oil boiler with a gas boiler in one day! Tom and two technicians came at 8:00 a.m. By 10:00 AM, a new gas boiler was in place, and one guy was working on the piping in the driveway while the other person was completing the installation. By 4:00 p.m. They call me to test the boiler. work like magic. The boiler passes its first city inspection for mechanical and electrical systems. I also want to mention that the price was very reasonable. PSEG estimate was almost twice the price. I recommended Tom to my next-door friend. So far, I am at a loss. I am overjoyed to be rid of the oil boiler, as well as the oil company and the oil deliveries. Thanks Tom. Highly recommended.

When PSE&G determined my Rheem tankless hot water heater was not repairable (I have the Worry-Free Plan from them) I then looked for a plumber to do the installation of the new one. It was still under warranty so I was given a new one from Rheem and just needed it installed. After speaking directly with 3 local plumbers and getting an approximate cost I went to Angi and spoke with 3 from there. I went with LAMCO (from Angi) for the following reasons: 1. their estimate was similar to several others and lower than a few of the crazy high ones 2. they replied quickly to all my inquiries 3. they were able to work with me in next day #3 was huge as I have a family of 4 without hot water and an autistic son. Comments: They had the least expensive price of all the contractors! This was a pretty good deal as some others did not even have the like-size of the boiler to be replaced. We did have an issue after the installation as quite a bit of oil got into the lines and one radiator started spewing black liquid. I called them to have a technician come help, and they came within a day or so. The weird thing is that I never got a receipt.. just the original quote to use for pricing. Otherwise, good value for the money.

I was NOT happy with that. They didn't clean up very well and there is still garbage all over the basement. But other than that, the boiler is in, it was a good price, so I'm satisfied.
